Who’s this maven?
Hi! I’m Katharine, homemaker, veteran homeschool mom, and work at home enthusiast. I began working from home as a teenager when I turned a craft hobby into a side business, along with baby sitting.
Then, in my early 20’s, I worked alongside my mom doing folkart craft shows and wholesale markets across the country for several years until moving away.
Years later when I became a homeschool mom and the internet was opening new doors for business and job opportunities, I began exploring ways I could earn income at home.
My experiences varied from selling on Ebay and Etsy, working for companies, blogging, and freelancing as a virtual assistant offering services to other entrepreneurs and companies. I wanted to take this experience and share it with others looking for ways they can earn an income from home.
Work at Home Maven is a website dedicated to helping women fullfill the dream of staying home and providing for their family through legimated work at home opportunities.
And it goes beyond telling what company is hiring, but also shares ideas and advice at finding methods of earning money that fit your dreams, goals, needs, and life style. I also share ways you can save time and money with tips on homemaking, meal planning, and finances.
